Maundy Thursday: There is a Table
Maundy Thursday at Sanlando: “There Is a Table”
April 2, 2026
6:30 PM
On Maundy Thursday, we remember the sacred night Jesus gathered with His disciples in the Upper Room. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning commandment — the command Jesus gave in that room: “Love one another as I have loved you.”
But more than remembrance, Maundy Thursday is an invitation.
What to Expect
We will gather in the sanctuary at 6:30 PM under the powerful leadership of Sanlando’s Modern Worship Band. Through worship and drama, we will be transported to the Upper Room — drawn into the mystery and magnitude of that holy night.
We will:
- Witness and reflect on Jesus washing His disciples’ feet
- Share Holy Communion
- And then move to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy a unique and delicious Maundy Thursday Celebration Supper
The evening will formally conclude around 7:45 PM with a closing liturgy and song, preparing our hearts to move from the warmth and family-feel of the Upper Room into the dramatic, life-changing events of Good Friday.

All are welcome at the table.
There is a place just for you!
