youth ministry

For Students in 6th-12th Grade

WHEN AND WHERE

We meet at The Point (2nd floor of the church office building). Students check-in at the south entrance of the office building (Carlton St.).

Sunday Nights

in The Point 5pm-7pm

Youth Group is our main, weekly program open to both middle and high school students as an opportunity to affirm and mobilize them in their faith (as stated in our mission). The purpose of this ministry is for students to become better connected with God and each other. During this time, students will be able to hang out, purchase snacks, play games, join small groups, participate in worship, and learn more about God. This is an excellent opportunity for new students to join The Point Youth Ministry!

Sunday School

in The Point 11am-12pm

Sunday School is an opportunity for middle and high school students to join in a topical small group Bible study that is aimed at connecting the Bible with current issues students deal with on a day-to-day basis. Our students split by middle and high school so that the studies are designed with their specific age group in mind.

Coffee chat

in The Point on Wednesdays 6:15pm-7:15pm

Coffee Chat is a time for middle and high school students to talk about life, play games, and get some homework done. Students can sign in and out as they please; some students stay the entire time, while others come for a brief period. The goal of this gathering is for students to have a place where they can decompress and enjoy the company and fellowship of one another. Coffee, water, and light snacks are provided.

We need your help! Dinners are provided on a volunteer basis. Please consider serving our youth by signing up alone or with another family. We are looking to provide a main dish, fruit, and dessert each week for 20-25 students.

You DO NOT need to provide plates, utensils or beverages. You DO NOT need to stay and serve. Students will have the opportunity to donate $2 to help cover the cost.
