Caregivers Support Group
Caring for someone who has cancer, Alzheimer’s, other chronic conditions, or is just unable to care for themselves can be taxing, even as it’s also a gift of compassion. Part of our faith journey is to come together during the trying times – to acknowledge the difficulties while seeking the face of God in the process. The vision of the Sanlando Caregivers group is to address the practical and spiritual needs that come with caregiving:
- A safe place to talk about our roles
- Sharing Knowledge and experience
- Learning to lean on the Lord, and becoming more like Jesus in the process
Join us on the second Tuesday of the month via zoom. Current and former caregivers are welcome, and you can be a primary caregiver or “second string” (indirect care). This group will meet monthly, supported by Sanlando staff members Erica Holloway and Sheryl Bane. Please email erica.holloway@sanlando.org or sheryl.bane@sanlando.org with any questions or to receive the zoom info.
