Revelation Bible Study

Revelation: Hope in the Darkness

A New Bible Study at Sanlando

When the difficulties of life whisper that chaos and evil are winning, God invites us to lift our eyes and remember a deeper, truer story: Jesus reigns! The throne in heaven is occupied, the Lamb is victorious, and our hope is secure.

This spring, you’re invited to a new Bible study at Sanlando based on Revelation: Hope in the Darkness by Scotty Smith. Together, we’ll walk through the book of Revelation not as a source of fear, but as a wellspring of courage, worship, and deep assurance. Though the world may feel unsettled, we are reminded that we have a champion Savior who is with us now and who will one day make all things right.

Pastor Jonathan is especially excited to study this rich and often-misunderstood book with you. He genuinely loves opening the Scriptures alongside you – listening, learning, laughing, praying, and discovering together how the gospel speaks hope into real, modern struggles. This study is designed to be a place where sincere friendships in faith are formed and nurtured, where questions are welcomed, and where hearts are strengthened by the Word of God.

This fourteen-week, gospel-centered study offers weekly readings of about eight pages from the study guide, along with a short Scripture passage. Typically, this is around thirty minutes of preparation. And if life gets busy, you are still wholeheartedly welcome. Pastor Jonathan designs each session so that you can come, listen, and glean God’s truth even if you weren’t able to prepare ahead of time.
